Today I decided to do an up hill walk on the treadmille, 3.0 pace, 6.0 incline 1mile. Man was it harder than my jog. Im really feelin it already

Well my knee injury took a hard hit at me and kept me off my knee for about a month. Now all i have left is to start over again, a doctors bill for my MRI and no job. But I guess it can only go uphill. Now i have more time to exercise, so after pulling myself out of the hole i crawled into from not working out i felt good today. My knee was ok and i ran 1.5 miles on treadmille at 4.5 on a 4 incline which made me feel good.

Since I was feeling so good today I also did the following:

Well today makes a 1 1/2 weeks since I injured myself, still waiting for my MRI results. Im starting to think and hope the doctors were wrong, today my knee didnt hurt to walk on it. It felt unstable but no pain, I still am staying off of it and keeping a brace the docs gave me on it and loading up on motron. But im going crazy!!! I did have one moment of sharp pain today but it didnt last too long. Praying for best and to get back out there. Think I will concentrate on strength trainning my upper body for now.

Well I finally went to get my knee checked out by the doctor and it didnt sound good. Doctor said I tore my Miniscus. I had an Xray done yesterday and I have an MRI scheduled for today. Looks like no more marathon, Im so sad.

Its been 2 days and I have not done anything. That last 2 miles messed up my knees bad. My left knee hurt a bit but my right knee I couldn’t put any pressure on it. So the next day i stayed off of it and been loading up on Motron and water and iced it. Today not much better. Im still trying to ice it after work and trying to stay off of it but my usual hose chores are causeing sharp pains. Yet another day Im still iceing it and elevating it. When will I be able to get back on it again. For the first time ever I really enjoy running and now I cant. Wish there was a fast fix.

Oh No!

I was so proud of my 5 mile run the other day but I think I hurt my knee.  After the run it was hurting pretty bad.  Took motron and water, the next day it was worse had trouble walking on it.  As the day passed felt a little better but might have been all the Motron, didn’t run. Today it still hurt but not too bad felt like it was getting better, but then when i tried to run it was killing me.  Felt like my knee was gonna snap in half and the left one began to hurt more cause all my weight to run was being put on the left leg now.  I dont know what to do, so sad, I just started running and started enjoying it dont want to be set back on my training to 1/2 marathon and discouraged enough to stop.
